World Food Programm (WFP) | Shakti Milan Nepal

December 10, 2020 was a very special day for Shakti Milan Nepal in two ways. This special social project for the advancement of women in one of the poorest countries in the world celebrates two events on this day. On the one hand, Shakti Milan Nepal turns six years old, which is a very long time for a social project. In these six years, not only have jobs been created for many women, but also an environment has been built that gives women a future for themselves and their children and families.

The second special event is the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to the World Food Program WFP. Shakti Milan Nepal congratulates WFP on this well-deserved highest recognition and looks forward to further cooperation. Because Shakti Milan Nepal is the exclusive partner of WFP and is allowed to sew bags from the rice bags of the World Food Program. This special honor of not only being able to serve a worldwide program, but also to give the WFP rice sacks a new use through upcycling, fills Shakti Milan Nepal with great pride.
